Today we are celebrating the 72nd Republic Day of our country India in the year 2021. On this great occasion of today, first of all, I would like to salute our great fearless Indian soldiers who protect India by playing on their lives day and night.
It is very important for every Indian to understand the importance of today’s day. With this, we will also be able to explain to the coming generation what is the value and importance of Republic Day in our life. Today I am very happy that I will be able to put some words before you on this great occasion in front of you.

I am proud to be an Indian. The Indian Constitution was passed on 26 January 1950. On the same day, India was considered a republic country. Republic means a country run by the people. That is a country where the decision of the people is paramount. Today every leader in India is made by the people through elections. That is a country that is free from dictators.
As we all know, our country became independent on 15 August 1947 and after that on 26 January 1950, with the help of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, India got a strong constitution. Since the same day, 26 January has been celebrated with enthusiasm as Republic Day.
This day is not just to wish Republic Day to our friends, relatives and family members but it is the day when we should understand the importance of Republic Day and share it with everyone. In the end, I request you all to do something together so that we can take our country to the height of success.

The Honorable(माननीय) chief guest of the day, respected principal, teachers, parents and my all dear friends. This time we are celebrating 72nd Republic day of India that is why we are gathered here. Today I am going to speak a few words about republic day. Republic Day is a very special day for all Indian citizens and I wish to all of you a very happy republic day.
India celebrates the Republic Day every year on the 26th of January from 1950. At this day India was declared as the republic country as well as the constitution of India came into force after independence(आजादी के बाद) of long years of struggle.
India got independence(आजादी) on 15th of August in 1947 and two and half years later it became the Democratic Republic. Republic day in India has great importance in history as it tells us all about each and every struggle of Indian freedom fighters.

Republic means the supreme power of the people living in the country. The only public has rights to elect their representatives(प्रतिनिधि) as a political leader to lead the country in the right direction(दिशा) So, India is a Republic country after 26th of January 1950, where the public elects its leaders as a president, prime minister, etc. Our Great Indian freedom fighters have struggled(संघर्ष किया) a lot to the “Puma Swam?’ in India.
We can never forget their sacrifices(त्याग) in our country. They did so that their future generations may live without struggle and led the country ahead. We should remember them on such great occasions(अवसरों) and salute them. It has become possible(मुमकिन) just because of them that we can think from our own mind and live freely in our nation without anyone’s force.
There is also a big exhibition(प्रदर्शनी) of the Indian culture and tradition takes place by the different Indian states to show the ‘Unity in diversity‘ in India.
